• The confusion of trying to learn from a relative who’s instructions aren’t precise and memory is fading on the topic. Plus the guilt of having to keep asking them to repeat themselves if you couldn’t master a step and the struggles to find time to sew together!
• The frustration trying to learn off poor quality, unorganised Youtube tutorials as your only other alternative which leads to big chunks of time and material costs wasted through mistakes.
As an online educator for a university, I experienced all this and knew there had to be a better way. That’s when Hmong Sewing was born.
